Welcome!

Coming along to a Sunday service is a great way to find out more and get connected with our community.

We run two services on Sundays at 9:30am and 6:00pm.

Sunday services are a great way to connect with others, worship together and grow in faith and understanding.

You can also watch our services live online or rewatch them later on our YouTube channel

Throughout the week we run ministries and events

Ministries and events are a great way to get to know others and go deeper with your faith. There are also opportunities to serve and be equipped to share Jesus’ message of hope with others in our lives and community.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Matthew 7:7

Frequently asked questions

  • The church is located at the corner of Carlingford & Ray Road, Epping. We're a five-minute walk from Epping Station, just across from the service station.

  • Limited parking is available on site if you are travelling by car. However, there is ample street parking on Ray Rd, and in the council car park next to Coles.
If you're travelling by public transport, the church is located a short 500m walk from Epping Train Station, and is also close to bus services. You can use the Transport NSW website to plan your trip.

  • If you are attending one of our regular Sunday Worship services at 9.30am or 6pm, you will be greeted at the door by one of our welcomers. They can point you in the right direction. Stewards are also available in the foyer, to answer any questions you may have. Seats are not allocated in any way, so feel free to find somewhere you feel comfortable.

If you are visiting the church building during the week, you can find the office just inside the foyer. It is staffed from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday.

  • The basic outline of a regular Sunday Service includes music, announcements, prayer, and a talk (sermon). The talks are usually given by one of our pastors. We often have guest speakers too. Our services normally run for just over an hour.

We celebrate communion on the third Sunday of the month at both services.

  • Children of all ages are welcome! Our Sunday Kids (Infants - Year 6) and Revolution (Years 6-10) programs run concurrently to the 9.30am service. Whilst there is no kids program during our 6pm service, little ones are still welcome and are encouraged to join in with the service.
There is a creche located at the back of the church auditorium available for parents and babies.

You can learn about all our children’s programs on our EBC Kids page.

  • Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal church and accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up to try and be someone that you’re not.

  • Parking

There are two disabled parking spots on the church grounds. Our main entrance and church auditorium are both wheelchair-accessible. People can be dropped off in the “No Parking” zone on Ray Road right in front of the church entrance.

    Hearing

There is a T-coil loop in the church auditorium for people with hearing aids.

    Toilets

Toilets are accessible from the church foyer including one with disabled access.

  • Communion (also known as the Lord’s Supper) is when the church community remembers the death and resurrection of Jesus. We do this by eating a small piece of bread and drinking a small glass of non-alcoholic grape juice. The bread and juice symbolically represent the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus instructed His followers to remember Him in this way during His final meal with them (Matthew 26:26-29).

We invite anyone who calls Jesus Christ their Lord and Saviour to participate in communion. If you do not feel comfortable eating the bread or drinking the juice, simply remain seated at this time.

  • As a church, our ministries, church operations, and community outreach would not be able to run without the generous giving of our church family. At EBC, offering is an act of worship and gratitude. When we give, we acknowledge God as the source of all our blessings and support the work of His kingdom.

You are not under any obligation to contribute financially to the church.
