Thank you for joining us as we conclude our September series, ‘The Reluctant King’. Andrew will take us through to Saul’s ultimate downfall and defeat.

We hope this series of sermons have been enlightening and encouraging.

Thanks so much, Andrew, for a thought-provoking and encouraging word to us from 1 Samuel today. It was thought-provoking because you highlighted the impact that Saul’s living and leading from a base of fear had on him, his decisions and his ending! It was encouraging for me that you highlighted that ‘God never lets go of his people!’ I do praise God for that truth!
How important both of those aspects of your message are for each of us today. – that we need to recognise where we do live and decide from a base of fear – and that God is never going to give up on us ever!
And thanks, Howard, for your warm welcome to the service, and also how you pointed out that we are not only offering to God our finances – but all of ourselves as well.
    Bless you, both!
