Today spend time praying with someone else. Swap prayers of encouragement with a friend

In the words of Paul the apostle: 1 Thessalonians 5:11 

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up. 

Remember we are not alone even in troubling times.

    Thanks for this encouragement to pray with someone else, Jess. In fact, even though I’m just reading this today [14th], I was praying with 2 really good friends on Thursday evening after we had eaten dinner together. it was so good to conclude our expression of concern about this particular need with passionate prayer – we knew we couldn’t make the kind of significant changes to the need that are necessary – only God could do that. It was so satisfying to know that that need was now in God’s very loving and capable hands-:)!
