Midweek Musings Episode 11

Recipe for Gwen’s Choc Chip Biscuits :
125 grams Butter, 1 Cup Brown Sugar, 1 Egg, 1 Teas Vanilla Essence,  1 1/2 Cups Self Raising Flour, 1 Cup Choc Bits

Preheat the oven at 160 Degrees. Melt butter then add 1 Cup Brown Sugar. Cool Slightly. Beat in 1 Egg and add 1 Teas Vanilla. Add 1 1/2 Cups Self Raising Flour and add 1 cup Choc bits. Put it in the fridge for at least 15 minutes. 

Place teaspoon sized balls of mixture on a baking tray ( lined with baking paper) and cook in the oven for 12minutes.
Remove from the oven and flatten with a fork – allow to cool on trays.

Biscuits can be frozen after cooking but I prefer to double recipe and freeze leftover biscuit mixture . When you next need biscuits you can cut the required mixture roll into balls and cook from frozen!

    Always enjoy Midweek Musings, especially getting to know more about different people in the EBC family. Loved the recipe segment – the cook and the tasters were so professional!
