Jewel’s Peanut Butter Bliss Balls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pitted dates
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • Water
  • Hemp seeds, Chia seeds or your choice to coat

Method

  1. Soak pitted dates into a bowl of warm water for 15-20 mins
  2. In a food processor, add softened dates and blitz to break it down a little bit
  3. Add the coconut oil, peanut butter and maple syrup into the food processor and mix everything together
  4. Add the walnuts and almond meal into the food processor and mix (add less or more almond meal depending on consistency of mixture, if the mixture is too wet it will be hard to roll it into a ball, so add more almond meal)
  5. Give the whole mixture a good mix making sure that ingredients are well incorporated with each other
  6. Roll mixture into bite size balls
  7. If you like, you can coat the balls with hemp seeds, chia seeds or anything else you like
  8. Store in the fridge in a container
