More than 20 life groups operate within Epping Baptist Church. The groups vary greatly – they meet on different days, at different times and some meet weekly while others meet fortnightly. The emphasis is different within the groups – some focus more on Bible Study, others on prayer while for some the main purpose of the group is Christian fellowship.

Those who attend groups cover a wide age group and there are meetings in locations throughout the Epping area and several kilometres around. The material the groups study is chosen by the group and/or the leaders. About once a year the Church is involved in an integrated study where most of the groups study the same material, though this is on a voluntary basis.

The benefits of being part of a life group are numerous. In a large Church it is important to relate to a group of people where you feel known, accepted and cared for. Life groups provide this as well as the opportunity for fellowship, learning and growing through study, discussion, prayer and fun.

Contact the Church office if you would like to join a life group.
